Lavender Picnic for Two (blanket)

Service Description

Join us during our 52nd year of farming for a memorable Lavender Picnic for Two overlooking more than 2 acres of blooming lavender—over 1,000 lavender plants. Nestled beneath the shade of our beautiful cottonwood trees, this unique picnic experience combines stunning lavender views, a chef-inspired charcuterie spread, and the simple pleasure of slowing down together. All picnic offerings are gluten-free, and vegetarian picnic options are available with advance notice. Your picnic includes a seasonally inspired charcuterie board featuring dry-aged salamis and artisanal cheeses from Paonia's own Western Culture Farmstead & Creamery, accompanied by nuts, crackers, dried fruits, olives, pickled vegetables, spreads, and seasonal accompaniments. Your picnic basket includes silverware, napkins, wine cups, and a wine key. Simply leave all basket items behind when you're finished, and we'll take care of the cleanup. As a keepsake, you'll take home two fresh lavender bouquets. Bringing a third guest? One additional picnic guest may be added for $45 and includes picnic service and a fresh lavender bouquet. For parties of four or more, we recommend reserving a second Lavender Picnic for Two or upgrading to our Lavender Picnic Table Experience. Choose from more than 15 dates during our blooming season, June 28–August 3, with most dates offering two picnic sessions. Upon arrival, you'll settle into your reserved blanket picnic setup beneath the cottonwoods, just steps from one of our largest blooming lavender fields. Our spacious grounds offer plenty of room to relax, unwind, and take in the sights and scents of lavender season. Planning a larger gathering? Seltzer water will be available for purchase. While you're here, we encourage you to explore the North Fork Valley, including the acclaimed wineries of the West Elks AVA. Guests 21 and older may bring alcoholic beverages to enjoy responsibly. If bringing alcohol, please have a valid government-issued ID available. Please do not drink and drive. IMPORTANT INFO: Lavender Picnics are rain or shine. Limited shelter is available, so please come prepared for Colorado weather. All payments are non-refundable.
