Lavender Picnic For Two

Service Description

Join us this summer, rain or shine, for 'Lavender Picnics' under the shade of beautiful cottonwood trees that overlook 2+ acres of lavender. (That's over 1K lavender plants if you were wondering.) Each 'Lavender Picnic' serves two people. However, if you have more people in your group, please add additional 'Lavender Picnics' accordingly. For example if you have four people, order two picnic baskets. At checkout please make a note in your order if you have multiple picnic bookings and would like to picnic together. Each 'Lavender Picnic' includes a seasonally inspired charcuterie board with a variety of dry-aged salamis and delectable cheeses, featuring Paonia's own Western Culture Farmstead & Creamery’s small-batch, goat-milk feta and chèvre. These picnic-ready boards are accompanied by a medley of nuts, crackers, dried fruits, olives, pickled vegetables, spreads, and more—including gf blackberry-lavender cheesecake truffles for dessert! There are over 15 dates to choose from during our season which is June 25—August 7. Most dates offer two sessions. Each session has the capacity for up to 10 picnics at a time. These are proper style picnics on the grass and picnic blankets will be provided. We have plenty of space to give you some privacy but we encourage you to meet your picnic neighbors if you're so inclined. We hope that you'll take some time to check out some of the other amazing offerings in the North Fork Valley, including our fabulous wineries of the West Elks AVA. *Picnickers 21+ may bring alcoholic beverages to enjoy responsibly. If bringing alcohol you must have a legal and valid government issued ID with you.* Each basket includes silverware, napkins, two wine cups, and a wine key for convenience—please leave all of the items above in your basket before you leave the farm. Each picnic basket also comes with fresh or dried lavender bouquets for you to take home with you. Stay hydrated! Bring water with you. Note we are located at 6250' in elevation. We will have a cooler with water available for an additional charge. Cash is preferred whenever possible. *IMPORTANT INFO: ALL 'Lavender Picnic' dates are rain or shine. Plan to come prepared for Colorado weather. ALL payments and deposits are non-refundable. If you cannot make it for your picnic date, contact hello@stanton-farms.com at least 24 hours in advance to arrange to transfer your 'Lavender Picnic' to someone else for the same date that was originally purchased.
